One retainer, shaped to your business.

Cassidy & Clarity doesn't have packages, and we don't have tiers. We have one type of engagement — a monthly retainer where both of us work with you on whatever moves your business forward — and we shape it to what your business actually needs.

That means there isn't a price list, and there isn't a brochure to choose from. There's a conversation, a Health Check, and a number that's honest for the work your business actually requires.

02The anchor

Retainers start from £295/month + VAT.

That's the floor — enough to support a real, ongoing partnership with a business that's smaller and lighter-touch, where the financial work runs largely on autopilot and the visibility work is steady rather than intensive.

Most engagements settle between £595 and £1,500 a month, depending on the size and complexity of the business and how much active work it actually needs. Some sit higher when there's more going on.

What you don't pay for: setup fees, onboarding fees, long contracts. Retainers are month-to-month. Move up or down as your business changes. End at any time.

Where a business needs significant catch-up work to bring its records up to date before we can run things month to month, we scope and quote that separately as a one-off project. The retainer covers ongoing work, not historical clean-up.

03What shapes the price

What it actually costs for your business.

Three things shape where in the range your retainer lands.

The financial complexity. A sole trader with a simple Xero file is a different beast from a limited company with subcontractors, multiple revenue streams, and VAT to manage. More transactions, more complexity, more time — and a higher number.

The visibility surface. A local small business with one website and one service area is one thing. A business with multiple service lines, several locations, or a competitive search landscape is another. Bigger surface, more work.

The pace of the partnership. Some businesses want us proactively in their week — working on growth projects, in close contact about bigger decisions, jumping on opportunities as they come up. Others want steady, calm, monthly. Both are fine. The number reflects which one fits.

Start with a Health Check.

The cleanest way to find out what a retainer would look like for your business — and whether we're the right fit — is to start with a Business Health Check. £495 + VAT, a one-off combined finance and visibility review delivered by both of us, with a full walk-through call afterwards.

If you go on to work with us, the full £495 credits against the first three months of retainer. If you don't, you keep the report and the recommendations.
